Frequently asked question - why are there three detangling & Styling tools (D&St)?
The darkest (blue) tool is the firmest and the lightest (lavander) is the softest. Find more details on our How-to page. There is a small guide on the front of the box. The change between is very slight to the touch but we found that our hair can tell the difference. Start with the softest (lavender: most flexible/gentle) and work your way up. Try not to start with the firmest on very tangled hair and/or on dry hair without product, always start with the lavender until you get a hang for it!
Frequently Asked Question - When should I wear my tools?
Slide on your tool when it’s time to do your hair. If you use it, great. If not, then that’s ok. You’ll start to know when you’ll need it most. Is it when you want to detangle, smooth your edges, twist, create a coil? It will be there to enhance your styling process when needed. It will become your 2nd skin! Use it with your favorite brush/comb or alone.

Your Curlrev™ Detangling & Styling Tool is made of High Quality Food Grade Silicone. Clean with warm soap water and store with your other hair styling tools. Keeping your tools clean will allow it to work better for each wash day and styling process. Watch out video how to keep your tools clean and how to put on & off your tool.
Don’t wear for extended hours if your finger size is larger than the size capacity.

frequently asked question - how can I improve the fit of your D&S Tool?
Keep clean: Always start with a clean tool and clean dry hands. This will allow the tool to get a good grab on your fingers. It is not totally avoidable but you want to avoid getting styling products in-between your skin and the inside of the tool. If your tool starts to slip a bit then the best thing to do is quickly wash and dry your tool and hands and re-apply. Watch out video how to keep your tools clean and how to put on & off your tool.
Adjust length: If you find your tool is too long? You’ll notice at the base of the tool (where there are no detangling bumps) there are four cutting creases so you can adjust the length of your tool. There are four raised lines; do not cut the raised lines, instead cut in-between the raised lines. Tip: Cut one area at a time then try on your customized tool. Do this until you find it to be a better length for your hand. “Measure twice; cut once!” Please note, customized tools can not be returned.
Q: How do I know if it may be too long? A: You will see/feel a gap between the top of your tool and your finger. It’s ok to leave the gap if you don’t mind it. If not, you can adjust the length. See info just above.
Avoid products from slipping in: Notice the whole on the top? It is a part of the design but will allow products to slip in. Our tip would be to avoid getting products in this area when you scooping products from your jars. This may not be totally avoidable (and that ok!) so just clean your product and hands, re-apply and get back to using your tool to detangle and style your hair! How do I return a product? Please email contact@curlrev.com with your request. Returns need to be done within 30 days of receiving your package. Please do not return used products.
